There are some upset customers waiting on the next version of SQL Server, for sure. Just like happened on version 7. Never learn, do we? I don't care, because I like Oracle's database. :-) And, come on guys, be optimisic (e.g. Do as I say, not as I do...), etc. As M$ says, "you never know what will come out next, so get a subscription now. Its our money anyhow. We're trustworthy." (IMHO) M$' best XML database (to date) has a current version and its called MS Access 2003. ;-) Regards, Mike Thomas (Note: Weekend humor intended). --- Richard Ji <Richard.Ji@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > True, but it is the latest that MS is offering since > ... > -----Original Message----- > From: Jacques Kilchoer > [mailto:Jacques.Kilchoer@xxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Fri 5/7/2004 8:38 PM > To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Cc: > Subject: RE: XML databases > > To be fair, they are comparing a just-released > version of Oracle with a > version of SQL Server that is almost four years > old. ... __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
