You need to have root access - hagrp -sum <volume grp> is
your best friend
ugh! any HA package that forces DBAs to have superuser priveledge
should be burned...and that as a former engineer in the Veritas
Database Editions Group :-)
Hmm... doesn't Oracle RAC require superuser privileges, for the various
clusterware (CRS) daemons? (Of course, it's debatable that RAC, or VCS
for that matter, is an HA package...)
