openfiler iscsi is exactly what I use...

I also ran into strange browser issues, lately I can only get the web based console to show up correctly under Internet Explorer, under Firefox or Chrome it just never loads the initial login box. Are you getting to / past the login box?

Also check for firewall restrictions port wise or rule wise.

Not sure what else to suggest at this point.

Virtual Box doesn't support shared disks though. So for rac you would need to
do something else such as have an open filer system and do iscsi or nfs.

 Hi Robert

Check the services that are running on your windows platform. In some cases I
have found that not all VMware services did not restart on reboot.
Alternatively try Virtual Box from Sun, I've been using this for a few weeks
after suffering all sorts of pain with VMware 2 and I am close to committing to
that 100%

I've used VMWare for ages to setup RAC VM's on my laptop. It works great.I've just downloaded version 2.0.2 VMWare. It has a new web based interface (blech!!) When I install the RHEL 5 image, the install goes fine, but the VM won't restart on the reboot.

Anyone experience this and have a solution to this problem?
