RE: URGENT question (Windows Patches and Oracle File Removal)

Well, reinstalling Grid Control on our DR server due to this snafu.

Still no resolution on how the files were deleted, though a suspect Forefront 
antivirus log file makes me go 'hmmmmm'.

But, at least Oracle included something that made me laugh: (during 10.2.0.5 EM 
patch)

"Management servers cannot be connected to the Management Repository during 
upgrade.
You must stop the active Management Servers and wait 4 minutes before 
continuing.  The following
Management Servers need to be stopped:
..."

4 minutes?  I wonder how they came to that number.

Anyone seen Windows patches REMOVE Oracle Files?

How do you tell if the patch did in fact remove the file?
