Tivoli 6.1 Oracle agent, formerly known as Candle: experiences

Dear list members,
At a CT site it is the intention to start using Tivoli Agent for Oracle
Databases (the former Candle product).
Databases are 8.1.7 / 10.2.0.3
OS is AIX
The manual I got is rather vague, no screenshots, no 'real' stuff like
what is monitored for, how it is monitored.
Does anyone have any experiences to share?
Is it monitoring for useful information?
