Hey all,

Anyone else investigating how Oracle will be affected by the 2007 DST
changes in the US? It seems to me that the only DBs to worry about are
those that have columns with the TIMESTAMP WITH [LOCAL] TIME ZONE
datatype and have a nonnumeric timezone set. I have none that have
nonnumeric TZs, but it would seem that every 10g DB that does would be
affected since the data dictionary contains those datatypes.

Of course, every server we have needs OS patches, which will undoubtably
require reboots...<sigh>

Just wondering...

Rich
