Well, there is the Great Evil embodied in .NOT compared to which Java is just a meager joke, just like Phil, the prince oh heck from Dilbert (the guy carrying a spoon, not a fork). It seems that the Great Enemy is getting restless in his fiery fortress of Redmond, WA, and is spewing orcs and demons trying to sell .NOT as an open product. The only thing that can save the world is if someone throws the ring of Longhorn and throws it into the fiery depths of mount St. Helen's which will have to do as Mount Doom for this occasion. -- Mladen Gogala Ext. 121 -----Original Message----- From: Stahlke, Mark [mailto:mstahlke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, November 29, 2004 5:46 PM To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Three is the number, the number shall be three ... -----Original Message----- <snip> It was about time that someone put God in the database. <snip> To save us from the evils of Java?
