RE: Strange multiblock read events

Josh,

What's the extent size? One of the things that can limit multiblock reads is
an extent boundary.

Subject: Strange multiblock read events

Hi,

Data warehouse environment on solaris 10 with 10.2.0.1. 16k db block size.
Multiblock_readcount is set to 64.

Most of my multiblock reads show up as 64 blocks, however, every third read or
so is 59 blocks followed by a 5 block read.

This confuses me.
