Solaris IPMP probe vs Link for ORacle 10g RAC

I am configuring IPMP for Oracle 10g RAC private and Private Interconnect. 
Probe based IPMP require more IP as well as more complex to administer while 
Link based IPMP configuration is simple. Is there any consideration for Oracle 
10g RAC deployment beside making change using oifcfg as well as using 
private_interconnect initialization parameter.
