Ok, ignore this.
The user did not have Unlimited tablespace.
All is well.

Subject: Simple Quota Question
Issue:
============
1. Every user granted unlimited tablespace 2. No quotas on any user.
3. All defaults are unlimited
4. User creates table in non-default tablespace.
5. Gets ORA-01536: space quota exceeded for tablespace
Fix:
Admin alters user quote unlimited on non-default tablespace No error.
Question:
I'm forgetting, isn't unlimited tablespace supposed to cover this system
wide?
Is zero quota assumed if not granted on non-default tablespaces?
Disclaimer:
Yes, simple dumb questions, but it's a holiday week and my brain is already
on vacation.
