RE: Should there only be 1 OS, or multiple?

Oracle tried that a few years ago in concert with Dell.  Fell flat on
it's face as I remember.  It was called a "Database Appliance.  Wonder
where that copy of Oracle magazine went??  Oh well, for more look here:
