Setting up (DB)SNMP on HP-UX

Currently we're moving our databases to a new HP-UX Itanium server and
subsequently upgrading from 9.2.0 to 10.2.0.
The upgrade is usually done bij export/import.
So far so good, no real problems met.
On our 'old' server we had set up an SNMP structure by using the
dbsnmp-agent, and collecting the data by a tool called IPMonitor.
In the new 10gR2 enivronment we all of a sudden seem to have lost the
dbsnmp daemon.
When I read the docs' and notes on Metalink I get the impression that it
is only possible to use the new agent as part of the Grid Control system.
But that's not what I want. I don't need the Gris control, I just want
an 'Intelligent' agent to look after my instances and listener. Lean and
mean.
Does anybody know how to accomplish this?
Kind regards,
Peter
