re: Seagate (RAC) firewire storage on the cheap

hey guys,
  does anyone have any experience w/ any Seagate SATA w/ firewire large drives 
that can be used as a proof of concept for RAC such as the ones  below? I have 
not been able to find any info on these re: chipsets compatible for a RAC setup.
   
  any thoughts on these or other similar large "entry level enterprise" drives?
