RE: SQLLDR or UTL_FILE package? Which is faster?

If you can do parallel direct loads it would be tough to beat SQL Loader.
Clear back in '98 using Oracle 7.3.4 I was getting 15000 rows per second.
I'm sure with the hardware and SAN systems available today you could beat
that by a large margin. 
 
I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone who has more current benchmarks
than mine.

  Is SQLLDR faster or UTL_FILE utility faster?
  For loads of 130 million rows with about 200 columns, which tool is
better?
  We are on 8.1.7 on Sun server.
