Re: SQL Server 2005 Review

Jared,

I have been to a couple of SQL Server 2005
presentations by Microsoft lately.  Invariably, they
steer the discussion away from the database and toward
their ETL tools.  They frequently highlighted the
interoperability of these tools with the other major
database products.  

It seems that they are intentionally not talking about
the 'new and improved' SQL Server.  Higher maintenance
and reduced automation might well be reasons that they
would raher talk about their ETL tools.
