You should also check the kernel parameter shmall and make sure it's set
correctly.
Btw, 50gb is quity large for a 64gb server. It'll leave to little space for
the PGA/OS and can cause excessive swapping.

And what exactly do you mean by “it is only going around 32-25G”? Are you
getting an error if you try to make it larger than 32G?
