What Oracle version?

32 or 64 bit kernel?

What kernel version?

How much memory on the box?

How much are you allocating to SGA(s)?

Are you configuring hugepages?

Any activities other than running database instance(s)?

Subject: Redhat EL 5

According to Redhat you don't need to use the huge kernel in RHEL5 (there
doesnt seem to be one anymore)
as PAE takes care. I get the same oom killer problem as low memory runs out and
OOM Killer kills the database anybody got any ideas?
