Jonathan,
What Kernel is Suse Enterprise running? I'm using Suse 8.2 Pro with my own
compiled 2.4.22 Kernel and it works fine with my SATA drives. From what I
remember SATA drives need 2.4.21 to work properly, it was a while ago when I
did my google research on the subject.
HTH
Cheers,
Chris
