Not been there, not done that. I have been practising with recovery in another instance and then using tts to get them in the original database. Rman and TS PITR is precisely what I could not use and because of that have not had the change to try that. I hope others can help you there. If you want my guess, I think TS PITR can be used because rman will know about your dropped tablespaces. Kind regards, Eric. -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Namens Prem Verzonden: woensdag 25 mei 2005 15:12 Aan: Eric Buddelmeijer CC: ORACLE-L Onderwerp: Re[2]: Tablespace dropped - Recovery Scenario ? Hi Eric ,=20 since the tablespaces are dropped , the information about it will be =20 removed from the control file also . so , TSPITR is also ruled out on PROD as such . Please correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks & Regards, Prem. On 5/25/05, Eric Buddelmeijer <Eric.Buddelmeijer@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > You can also try a tablespace point in time recovery.
