Have you tried running bplist or bpclimagelist to see if Netbackup shows the backup in its catalog? Also, it might be useful to have a peek at /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/dbclient/log.MMDDYY and see if there is any useful info in there. If there isn't enough detail in the log file, try setting VERBOSE=5 in /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf and run it again.
