RMAN merging catalogs

We have a 10G and 9i RMAN catalog.
 
In a perfect world, it might be nice if one could migrate the catalog to
the control file, then register on the 10G catalog and migrate the
control file to the 10G catalog.
 
There doesn't seem to be much on just migrating one server at a time
from one catalog to another.
 
You could always export/import if it was the whole thing, but these are
existing catalogs, and one at a time, where it's convenient, no firewall
problems, it would be nice to take the 9i stuff to 10g.
 
Is there a document out there for the "one at a time" or a "few
selected" from one to the other?
