Environment:
9.2.0.5 on Red Hat Linux ES3
I was checking backups from last night with the following oddity. The job
failed with "User Authentication Failed." Simple right? The oracle user
account password changed - not. The o/s account pw didn't change, the RMAN
account on the database - password hasn't changed either. I spoke with my S/A
and he hasn't changed anything either. The semi-intelligent agent is still
running (Since Feb 16th).
I did try to run a one-off job to do a one time get it done now backup through
the OEM console with no success. However, I was able to log in to the server
and run an RMAN script via command line with no problems.
Any thoughts/experiences with this type of problem?
Thank you for your help.
