I don't think it will work
if you have all archive logs then do this.
restore full backup as of jan 3
restore database until time jan 20

I need recover database to Jan 20, 2008. My ORACLE version is
9.2.0..8. I have following files:
1. full cold backup on Jan. 3, 2008
2. full cold backup on Feb 20, 2008
3. all Archive logs file on January and February
My plan are:
1. copy "jan 3, 2008" database back except control files.
2. copy "feb 20, 2008" control files back.
3. startup mount
4. recovery to jan 20.
Does anyone know this procedures work or NOT?
Thanks.
