Good day, oracle-l, Happy Thursday!
I have been looking around both on google and the oracle KB, and also
searching through the ORA-00494 trace files directly, for clues on how to
tell which control file the enqueue is taking so long. Perhaps the answer
is right in front of my nose and my eyes are just crossed now. Is it
something simple, or do the various dump files not indicate which
controlfile is the problem?
I ask this "after the fact", since we were able to identify the mount point
that caused the error by looking at the OS and SAN stats. It just would be
nice to know for certain right off the bat which disk had the problem.
