Performance on IBM Power 7

Hi

Has anyone experienced hardware upgrade from IBM P6 to IBM P7. Any
performance issues.

A friend of mine did and looks like P7 has similar problem as UltraSparc T1
and T2. Too many threads and the applications cant make use of it since no
parallel is done in the application.
