Not *all* parsed statements, only the statements that are dependent on
the table(s) that you analyze, and it depends on whether or not you set
no_invalidate=>false (default) or true.
 
I would suggest to focus on the specific query or queries the users
reporting to be running slowly and run a 10046 trace on it.  Then run
your usual stats update and run another trace on it when the users say
it is performing well and compare the two trace files to see what has
changed.

 Does analyzing a table invalidate all parsed statements in the
v$sqlarea - in effect getting rid of a poor explain plan that may be
causing other queries to run slowly?
