Hi,
The general problem with access to the oracle binaries got fixed.
I have experienced permission issues with all 11G releases, the
problem is access to the oracle
$ORACLE_HOME/inventory/ContentsXML/oraclehomeproperties.xml file,
which stops the orabase programme from working for "normal" accounts.
You just have to change the sub-directory and file permissions. In
11.1.0.6 orabase also wanted to write to this file every time it was
called, they have fixed that bug as well.
