Michael, you don't mention which database version (and it may not matter), but what you describe is entirely possible. I've done it on 9.2.0.4. You may need to use "ignore=Y" to avoid warnings, but the data can still get safely from partitioned table to non-partitioned table. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kline.Michael" <Michael.Kline@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, August 12, 2004 3:01 PM Subject: Partitions to non-partition > I've got data in one database that's not allowed to be touched for now, > but I would like to get it out and take it to another database where the > same table is NOT partitioned. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
