Lakh is a creature that lives on wild islands in the Atlantic, just north of
France and is related to

Snark. Snark is the creature that was first described by renowned British
biologist named Lewis Carroll.

I've been on this list for years and don't know what a lakh is. Is this
some kind of four legged creature that lives in the Alps? :-)
