Like tomorrow was a gift and you got eternity to think about
what'd you do with it
what did you do with it
what did I do with it
What would I do with it
Sky diving, I went rocky mountain climbing,
I went two point seven seconds on a bull named Fu Man Chu.
And I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter,
And I watched an eagle as he was flying
An' he said: "Some day, I hope you get the chance,
"To live like you were dyin'."

Thalis:
Yasou!!! Isn't it great watching the Olympics in our homeland!
<Dude, you guys have one beautiful homeland!>
OK. First, have a solid understanding of what is called Foundation or FND.
Understanding this module should help you understand most of the other
stuff. Second, understand the concurrent managers, how to "properly apply"
patches and when not to apply them. Third, April is correct: Don't mess
with the internal beast until you master portions of it and (2) you have
some buyoff from either Oracle, Support or a sharp consultant.
<and a backup of all tiers that you would bet your life on>
Fourth: Look to www.oaug.org for some information. This organization
facilitates the true education about the ebusiness suite. Most of the
ebusiness suite customers rely on this site for "objective" information.
Fifth: Look to AppsNet for additional info. Appsnet is part of Oracle's
site but I don't remember the URL. April: can you help here?
<http://www.oracle.com/technology/community/apps/index.html>
Sixth: If you are installing for the first time, read over ALL of the
material to install FIRST and then review your hardware specs to determine
if you have enough horsepower. Take Oracle's estimates and "bump them up a
notch".
<If you are implementing, forget sleep for the foreseeable future... I did
our implementation in 3 easy months... 900 easy hours with luck, you are
already live.>
April: Anything else?
<... =) I know where you can get a good book!>
Thank You
