It's the same code base pretty much as the paid for editions, it doesn't get
patched/maintained in the same way, but still it is as ready for production
use as the release upon which it was based.

laptops and the database needs to be on the laptop. I installed Xe and could
connect forms 10g and Reports 10g to Xe and every thing seems to be working,
but I am not really sure whether how stable XE is for a production use.
We are going to go through testing but want know if there is any feed
