Hi
If you compare the costs between Linux and Solaris (for SPARC) the main =
advantage of Linux is that more powerful CPUs are available. Remember, =
you don't simply save hardware cost, but usually you save Oracle license =
costs as well...
Advantage of Solaris is the far better support of 64bit and lots of CPUS =
(let's say more then 8 CPUs).
