Location:  Pittsburgh, PA

 

Length:   Contract 1-1/2 years, with the possibility of full-time employment
if desired

 

Salary:  $30-40/hr range

 

Experience:  At least 2 years

 

My client (a major University in the Pittsburgh area) is looking for a
person to join its Information Systems & Web Services team on a temporary
basis (one year, for a short term project assignment).  This position is
responsible for translating business requirements into information systems
and business intelligence applications, ensuring the design meets
performance, usability, reliability, security and scalability requirements
and implementing all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle from
systems analysis, design, development, through testing, deployment, training
and administration.  You'll need knowledge of and experience with the
logical and physical design of relational databases, and practical
programming and application development experience.
