Oracle DBA Position in Buffalo New York...

Client Company needs an Oracle DBA for a Full time staff position in the the Buffalo New York area.
*This company will not relocate candidates. Relocation is at the candidate's own expense. 

Salary range is $60-75K..tops.

*Description/Requirements:
The Database Administrator will assist in developing and implementing state of the art information technology strategies 
and platforms that meet current and future business needs.

*Experience and Skills:
-We are seeking a person with 3-5 years of experience administering ORACLE Enterprise Edition databases. The ideal candidate will have experience with databases that service applications that provide data and reports 
 to customers via the internet.
-Candidates MUST have experience working in ORACLE 10g RAC, ASM, RMAN, and Data Guard in a UNIX/Linux environment. - Candidates should be able to designs, constructs and implements physical databases. -Candidate should have experience developing, revising and implementing policies, standards, procedures 
 and guidelines necessary to effectively administer the database environment
- This person should be able to develop and implement plans to oversee the data and database administration function, 
  and ensures smooth transition to new technology
- Experience performing routine and customary operational and monitoring activities to ensure the database environment 
  is stable and capable of meeting ongoing business needs.
