Client Company needs an Oracle DBA Manager (Supervisor) for a position in the the Boston Massachusetts area (Stow).
Salary range is 110-128 K + 10% annual bonus. This position is an "A" job order. Will act quickly.This position is a People Manager position. Need to see someone that has been managing DBA teams for 1-3 yrs. (Performance reviews, etc.) A Technical Lead will NOT be a fit. This company is an SAP shop.
SAP environment experience is a huge plus but not mandatory.MUST have: Oracle DBA experience and Mgmt. of Oracle DBA teams. Let me know of any questions.

Description:*Managing and leading a team of Oracle DBAs consisting of employees as well as on and off shore contracted resources. *Leading the Oracle DBA team in improving Oracle database performance/uptime, for implementing the best methodologies for reengineering efforts, and for implementing those reengineering efforts to ensure scalability with support from
DBA's and systems administration teams.*Ultimate responsibility for Oracle architecture, strategic planning and supporting 100+ Oracle 9 & 10g databases
in production, development and testing environments.*Involved in analyzing, solving and creating solutions for very complex performance tuning situations and
will be responsible for managing very challenging projects. *Requirements:-This position is a People Manager position. Need to see someone that has been managing DBA teams for 1-3 yrs. -Must have 5+ years hands-on Oracle Production DBA experience, preferably in large environments (1+ TB database) -Must have experience managing a world class Oracle DBA team that includes both internal staff as well as on and off shore contractor resources in a large, mission critical, high availability, high volume environment. -Will be required to have extensive hands on knowledge with Oracle 9 & 10g application environments and supporting a 7x24x365 operation where on-call, escalation and participation in solving complex technical problems is a must.
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal -BS/MS in Computer Science or related field is a plus.-Should have experience managing databases supporting SAP applications *Experience in high volume/high availability environments including Disaster Recovery strategies and implementations This company is an SAP shop.
