Oracle 11.2 & upgrading AIX to 5300-11-01-0944

 
We are upgrading AIX from 5300-08-02-0822 to 5300-11-01-0944 in prep
for Oracle 11.2 install.  We run HACMP cluster and our steps are
to break apart the cluster, upgrade offline/secondary node, fail oracle over,
upgrade primary node and then fail back.  I cleanly shut down oracle
each time.  Last night, when we failed over, to new upgraded AIX node,
Oracle kept crashing.  Errors below.  As well as it kept telling me I needed to 
open db with UPGRADE.  Any idea what we should look at?  We were able to fail 
back to former primary
node before AIX upgrade and Oracle came up fine.  No issues.  I've opened
a SR w/Oracle to confirm we can upgrade to 5300-11-01-0944.  Doc said
AIX 5300-09-01 or higher.  The only thing I can think of is when I patched to 
11.1.0.7, root.sh was not run on this node.  How can I confirm?  Any thoughts, 
comments appreciated.  Trace file below just shows same errors.
