Hi friends : we hit a strange problem. After applying the latest patchcluster 8_recommended for solaris 8, our top/sar show wrong data. This is our standby server , we apply patch on it before doing it on production server. Has anyone hit similar problem? After patch , now uname shows: [oracle@main-db2**testdb]$uname -a SunOS main-db2 5.8 Generic_117000-01 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-880 SunOS main-db2 5.8 Generic_117000-01 sun4u 03/13/04 11:58:39 %usr %sys %wio %idle 11:58:42 0 1 99 0 11:58:45 0 0 100 0 11:58:48 0 1 99 0 11:58:51 0 0 100 0 11:58:54 0 1 99 0 11:58:57 1 1 98 0 11:59:00 0 0 100 0 11:59:03 0 1 99 0 11:59:06 0 0 100 0 11:59:09 0 1 99 0 11:59:12 0 1 99 0 last pid: 9762; load averages: 0.02, 0.03, 0.09 12:15:00 70 processes: 69 sleeping, 1 on cpu CPU states: 0.0% idle, 0.0% user, 1.1% kernel, 98.9% iowait, 0.0% swap Memory: 8192M real, 2435M free, 4547M swap in use, 6185M swap free PID USERNAME THR PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME CPU COMMAND 9634 oracle 1 58 0 2664K 1752K cpu/18 0:07 0.05% top 7550 oracle 258 52 2 1453M 1423M sleep 5:00 0.00% oracle 7531 oracle 258 52 2 3061M 3031M sleep 3:03 0.00% oracle 763 root 12 58 0 2496K 2088K sleep 0:15 0.00% mibiisa ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
