It is 45 physical disks/LUNS as seen by the OS. My .lun file had 45
lines (/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0, etc).
I had 1+1 for the OS and 1 failed drive. It holds 48 total.
No RAID, just raw physical spindles.
And...they are 7200RPM SATA drives. Not bad for 4 rack units.
