   How did you decide the pipelined function was causing your problem? Did
Oracle Support locate that as the source of the error?

Usually this error is generated because there is a bug.
The best thing you could do if you can't solve it is to search the bug list
or set a tar
on the subject to Oracle.
And then apply the patch or do a workaround.

For example I had this problem when used pipelined functions. instead using
pipelined, I used cursor.
