Patrick,

I don't know if it's that important, but the way I
understood this note# 278641.1 "Applying Patchset with
a 10g physical standby in place" and the way I applied
this patchset 2 is by shutting down primary first
(step 3) prior to shutting down standby (steps 4-5).
