Thanks, Yong, really appreciate the information. We'll go back to client and find out what specs from his vendor were/are. I want to add that "ORA-07451" is not a good search keyword. Instead, just search for "OER 7451 in Load Indicator". On MOS, make sure you pick "All sources", or in advanced search, check "Knowledge Base Archives" and "Bug Database" for the source. You'll get 7 notes or bugs. If you do search for an Oracle error on the Internet, it's better to exclude an adjacent error (that exists), for example, "ora-07451" -"ora-07452" This filters away most of the noise pages that do nothing but list Oracle's standard errors, unless the page mentions ORA-07451 only. Note that ORA-07450 doesn't exist in some versions of Oracle documentation so don't use that for exclusion. Also, you need the 0, unlike on MOS where searches for ora-7451 and ora-07451 make no difference. FYI, slskstat is the function that gets the system load, through /proc/loadavg on Linux for example.
