RE: No Oracle Support for 11g yet

On that same point there is a press release on Oracle's website stating
the 11g is GA, time is 5am on the 14th, maybe your SR was just a
fraction too early

I take that as its supported

Cheers

See my earlier post. Kick support in the behind, tell them to get with
the times. 11g IS Supported, officially. Tell them the Beta office said
it was being supported and get a manager.

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!! It will help us all down the road.

Not sure if anyone else has had this experience, but I opened an
SR with Oracle for an 11g question and was told the following today
(8/14):

"11G production release is not yet out and so we from Product
support team can not proceed on this SR"

Apparently the software is ONLY released under the OTN Developer
license at this time, not released for production?

Has anyone else had similar experiences? Anyone know when the
production/supported release is expected? I'll ask the tech support
rep, but I don't expect much help from him given his responses so far.

        Regards,
        Brandon
