My understanding is as follows. The CPU patch will be available only for the last 2 sub releases of a major release on a platform unless the latest sub release has been out for a year. In that case the patch will be available only for the lastest release. Note that for certain platform like maybe VMS ( and I not sure) the latest release may not be the current latest release for other platform. -----Original Message----- From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of J. It's my understanding that Oracle will nto be putting out a Jan 2007 CPU Patch for Oracle 9.2.0.6 on Linux. Does anybody know anything about this? Is this Oracle's way of forcing an upgrade to 9208? _________________________________________________________________ From predictions to trailers, check out the MSN Entertainment Guide to the Academy Awards(r) http://movies.msn.com/movies/oscars2007/?icid=ncoscartagline1 -- //www.freelists.org/webpage/oracle-l Please do not transmit orders or instructions regarding a UBS account by e-mail.
