My understanding is as follows.

The CPU patch will be available only for the last 2 sub releases of a
major release on a platform unless the latest sub release has been out
for a year. In that case the patch will be available only for the
lastest release.
Note that for certain platform like maybe VMS ( and I not sure) the
latest release may not be the current latest release for other platform.

Subject: No Jan CPU Patch for 9206 on Linux?

It's my understanding that Oracle will nto be putting out a Jan 2007 CPU

Patch for Oracle 9.2.0.6 on Linux. Does anybody know anything about
this?
Is this Oracle's way of forcing an upgrade to 9208?
