I would second that suggestion to disable the write cache on all arrays with 
Oracle data and/or redo log files.
I got burned once by this. UPS was in place but software to shutdown system 
cleanly was not.
Ended up with scrambled filesystems as well as corrupted data files.
Its worth the 10% hit in performance.
