Hi
I fidks as following:
fdisk /dev/mapper/3PAR_kenan_data_dsk01
then kpartx /dev/mapper/3PAR_kenan_data_dsk01 so I get now
/dev/mapper/3PAR_kenan_data_dsk01_part1
however if you read 3PAR documentation it says never use fdisk on
/dev/mapper/3PAR_kenan_data_dsk01 but instead run the underlying /dev/sd*
devices. This is strange because other storage makers says we must not run
fdisk against /dev/sd* multipath devices, 3PAR is the first one which says
opposite.
against what device did you run fdisk? /dev/mapper*
Thanks
