Jan CPU Question

Good morning everyone. I hope you've all had the chance to look over
the Jan. CPU. I have a question about CVE-2008-5439. Under Protocol,
it says "Local", but under Access Vector, it says "Network". I don't
remember seeing this combination before and they seem to be
contradictory, unless I'm misunderstanding what each one means. I am
under the impression that a Protocol of "Local" means that you have to
be on the machine and the Access Vector of "Network" means that you
don't have to be on the machine. Where have I gone wrong?
