It's even worse - if you, unaware of the following note, manage to login before
the migration is complete, they won't import your preferences at all (well, I
just did):
"User preferences are still in the process of being migrated. We anticipate
that the migration will be complete at November 9 at 2 AM Pacific Standard
Time. If you have logged in before your preferences were migrated, the
migration process will presume that you have set your preferences and they will
no longer be migrated. You will need to manually reset your preferences.."
