Jay ,
setting what Stephanie as said will also bypass all the tests.Which is
something I dont recommend which will lead to the "Weird Error Messages"
as she has reported.I have successfully loaded "General Pourpose" DB
on a RH9(Not Supported either) with 256MB RAM 1024MB(Swap) and a Intel
PIII 1.13Ghz but let me warn you it did appear hung at certain points
but at the end it worked. There is a glibc issue which will make it hang
at 71% or 64% at linking phase.Try to find out which file OUI checks to
verify the version like for RH9 it is /etc/redhat-release and change it
after taking a backup, this way I could fool the OUI to think its a RH AS
though it is RH9.
All the best
Deep
