I (and about 5 other DBA's) spent about a year trying to get management to stop believing a Hollywood style developer...mumbo jumbo coming out of his ears. He impressed the boss till about a year later when all the mumbo jumbo proved to be false and without any substance. The company waisted 1/2 million on this mumbo jumbo.
