The reason behind choosing the import option is, we have been given less
downtime and the database is on 9.2.0.4 and we have to upgrade to 11G for
EBS R12 application.

Upgrading it to 11G from 9.2.0.4 involves upgrading the DB to 9.2.0.7 or
9.2.0.8 and then apply series of interoperability patches during the upgrade
process,hence we thought of import option.

Any thoughts on the above is much appreciated.
